De Noche en La Ciudad

by: Aleks Syntek

After releasing his greatest-hits compilation entitled 89-99, Mexican Aleks Syntek (born Alejandro Escajadillo) returned with a pop/rock meets electronica album, a 1950s glamour image, and the particular sense of humor reflected in most of his work, starting with a techno-pop song called "ClonaciĆ³n," covering Dyango's "Por Volverte a Ver," and showing his romantic side with "Nuestro Jardin (Encantado)" and "Nada Mas Que Decirte." De Noche en la Ciudad proves Aleks Syntek's skills as a singer/songwriter, from the acoustic "Mas Que Decir" to the club/dance main title. ~ Drago Bonacich
