A Crosby Christmas

by: Bing Crosby

Varèse Sarabande's Crosby Christmas rounds up 13 yuletide gems culled from the undisputed king of the Christmas carol's classic radio broadcasts from the mid-'40s and early '50s, including duets with Peggy Lee ("Silver Bells," "Here Comes Santa Claus") and Ella Fitzgerald ("Silver Bells") -- both the Lee and Fitzgerald versions are a delight, but including two versions of the same track, especially on such a short collection, is a bit odd. ~ James Christopher Monger
