2000 Year Old Man: In the Year 2000

by: Carl Reiner & Mel Brooks

The old geezer and his interviewer are back for a fourth shot at our funny bones. As usual, Reiner handles the questions and Brooks rattles off the answers rapid-fire, leading to jokes about the treatment of Jews (Brooks has the capability of taking the horror of the Inquisition and bringing laughs from it while making a point in the process), the first book he ever read, sex (he never lasted to the seventh veil, says the 2000 Year Old Man of Salome), Martin Scorsese movies, and quite a bit more. Fast, funny, sometimes foul-mouthed, this is a solid addition to the collection. ~ Steven McDonald
