Since We Met: The Best of 1996-2006

by: Chantal Kreviazuk

Classically trained pianist Chantal Kreviazuk took up songwriting in 1994 as self-therapy after an auto accident, and within two years she had landed a recording contact and released her first album. Kreviazuk developed an international following for her own thoughtful compositions as well as hit interpretations of classics from the Beatles, Randy Newman, and Peter, Paul and Mary. Since We Met: The Best of 1996-2006 collects 18 of Kreviazuk's best-known performances from her first ten years as a recording artist; selections include "Leaving on a Jet Plane," "What If It All Means Something," "In My Life," "Surrounded," "Feels Like Home," "Weight of the World," and 12 more. ~ Mark Deming
