15 Greatest Hits On Ace Records (Edsel)

A straight up reissue of Ace's only multi-artist greatest-hits package, this 15 tracker brings the catalog's big guns (Jimmy Clanton, Huey Smith, and Frankie Ford) in place along with several interesting "local breakout" singles like Big Boy Myles' cover of "New Orleans," Jo and Ann's "Gee Baby," Little "Gonzo" Booker's "Teen Age Rock," and Lloyd Price's "Such a Mess." A nice sampling of what this label did best. ~ Cub Koda
