Back to the '60s, Vol. 2

The second volume of K-Tel's Back to the '60s series is based on inferior re-recordings of hits that were released primarily during the first half of the decade. As with the other volumes in the series, it's a cheap way to obtain a lot of music, but you're going to get what you pay for. Some of the inclusions on this disc include Sam the Sham & the Pharaoh's "Wooly Bully," Gary Lewis & the Playboys' "This Diamond Ring," the Chiffons' "One Fine Day," the Dixie Cups' "Chapel of Love," B.J. Thomas' "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head," the Drifters' "Save the Last Dance for Me," and Grass Roots' "Midnight Confessions." There are absolutely no original versions included here. ~ Andy Kellman
