Big Hair '80s Hits

This middle finger of a compilation from vulture label Cleopatra collects 36 re-recorded or poorly recorded live versions of hits from the '80s. To most people, a title like Big Hair '80s Hits would presumably rely heavily on the hair and pop metal offerings of aerosol legends like Warrant, Cinderella, and Poison, all three of which are here (although the latter is represented by a solo Bret Michaels). What's funny is that they're sharing space with acts like Irene Cara, Starship (who cover Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'"), Asia, and Todd Rundgren, all of whom probably have no idea that this collection even exists. ~ James Christopher Monger
