Now That's What I Call Drive

A gimmicky yet ultimately adequate collection of roadworthy pop hits, Sony/Universal's Now That's What I Call Drive rounds up three discs' (60 tracks) worth of highway jams, not all of which were chosen just because they have the word "road" or "drove" in them. Highlights include Bastille's propulsive and anthemic "Pompeii," James' affable "Sit Down," Journey's ubiquitous "Don't Stop Believing," and the Cars' soulful (if a little too on-the-nose) "Drive." ~ James Christopher Monger
