Anouk

Anouk Teeuwe is a Dutch alternative rock and soul singer who has released several albums since her debut recording 'Together Alone' in 1997. Daughter of a blues singer, she sang at weddings and parties as a teenager and started writing songs in the early 1990s. Other releases include 'Urban Solitude' (1999), 'Graduated Fool' (2004), 'Hotel New York' (2005) and 'For Bitter Or Worse' (2009). Her 2010 single 'Lost' (2010) reached number 22 on Billboard's Rock Digital Song Sales Chart and in 2013 she sang her song 'Birds' at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, placing ninth. She has been a coach on the television talent contest series 'The Voice of Holland' and co-wrote another Dutch entry, 'Walk Alone', sung by Trijntje Oosterhuis at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. Later albums include 'Paradise and Back Again' (2014), 'Queen for a Day' (2016), 'Fake It Until We Die' (2016) and her first album in the Dutch language 'Wen d'r Maar Aan' (2018).
