Bianca Ryan

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 1, 1994, pop and soul singer-songwriter Bianca Ryan first came to prominence in 2006 at the age of 11 when she was the first winner of televised talent show America’s Got Talent. Signing with Sycomusic / Columbia Records, she released her self-titled debut album in November 2006. The album climbed to Number 57 on Billboard’s 200 Albums chart and made the Top 50 in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, and The Netherlands. She quickly followed that the following month with the holiday EP Christmas Everyday!, featuring the single “Why Couldn’t It Be Christmas Every Day,” which charted at Number 15 in The Netherlands. After touring the US in 2007, she released the single “That’s Not Me,” but left Sycomusic the following year. In 2009, she released her second holiday EP, True Meaning of Christmas, but chose to focus on her education and put her musical career on hold. In 2014, she re-entered the musical arena by starting her own social media channel and releasing a cover of John Legend’s “All of Me” as her first single in several years. Although she released several more singles – “Broken Down House” (2014), “Alice” (2015), and “Remember” (2018) – Bianca Ryan was not able to capture the public’s interest like she had a decade before. However, she continued to release new music including The Reintroduction EP (2019), the holiday-themed What the World Needs Now… EP (2020) and the single “I Wish That” (2022).
