Big30

The American rapper Big30 was born as "Rodney Lamont Wright Jr." in Memphis, Tennessee, on December 28, 1999. He began his hip-hop career by making two appearances on fellow Memphis native Pooh Shiesty's album So Icy Summer in 2020, guesting on the singles "ABCGE" and "Monday to Sunday." Although neither song appeared on the hip-hop charts, the two rappers also collaborated on Big30's own single, "Allegations," which earned a gold certification in 2020 and officially appeared on Big30's debut mixtape, King of Killbranch, the following year. King of Killbranch peaked at Number 13 on the Billboard 200 and featuring a slew of guest appearances from other hip-hop stars, including Offset, Lil Durk, Quavo, Big Homiie G, Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo, Future, and Pooh Shiesty. Meanwhile, Big30 remained in the collaborative spirit by appearing on other artists' songs as a guest artist, making cameos on Gucci Mane's "1017 Freestyle" and "Holmes" in 2020, Moneybagg Yo's "Go" (a Number 52 hit) and "SRT" in 2021, Gucci Mane's "Shit Crazy" in 2021, and a pair of songs from Pooh Shiesty's debut mixtape Shiesty Season. Released in 2021, Shiesty Season hit Number 3 on the Billboard 200 and included the gold-selling single "Neighbors," which featured Big30 as both a guest artist and co-writer.
