Blaine Larsen

The country singer Blaine Larsen was born in Tacoma, Washington in 1986 and he developed his interest in music from an early age, learning to play guitar by the age of 13. He recorded his debut album 'In My High School' on Giantslayer Records and the title track enjoyed some limited local success, eventually reaching number 60 in the country charts. The album brought the young singer to the attention of the BMG label in Nashville who signed Larsen and re-released the album in 2005, this time under the title 'Off to Join the World'. On this occasion the album reached number 14 in the country charts and to date has been Larsen's most successful record release. His most recent album release has been 'Rockin' You Tonight' which came out in 2006. Larsen recorded a follow-up album titled 'Not Too Bad' but unfortunately his record label was taken over and the label's new owners dropped Larsen from their roster and the album was never released although three singles subsequently lifted from the album have made the top 50.
