Caribou

Dan Snaith, who goes by the name Caribou, is a Canadian musician who performs and records electronic synth-pop. He released his debut album 'Start Breaking My Heart' in 2001 followed by 'Up in Flames' (2003) and 'The Milk of Human Kindness' (2005). 'Andorra' (2007) went to number 26 on Billboard's Independent Albums Chart and number 193 on the Billboard 200. 'Swim' (2010) reached number 14 on the Independent Chart, number 18 on Billboard's Alternative Albums Chart, number 31 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums Chart and number 97 on the Billboard 200. In 2014 Snaith's seventh album, 'Our Love', peaked at number two on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart, hit number eight on the UK Albums Chart, number nine on the Independent Chart, number eight on the Alternative Albums Chart, number 19 on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart and number 46 on the US Billboard 200. In concerts, which feature elaborate videos, he is joined by guitarist Ryan Smith, bassist John Schmersal and drummer Brad Weber. In 2020 he released 'Suddenly', his first album in six years, along with the singles 'You and I' and 'Never Come Back'.
