Cindy Daniel

Quebecois singer Cindy Daniel, was born on May 6, 1986, in Montreal, Canada. Her musical journey began at the age of 16 when she recorded her debut album, La Petite Indienne (The Little Indian), in 2002. That same year, she showcased her talent on stage as Elvira in the musical Don Juan, captivating audiences in both Quebec and France. In 2006, Cindy released J'Avoue (I Confess), an album that included the hit song "Sous une pluie d'étoile" (Under a Rain of Stars)",which reached the top of the Quebec charts. Her third album, Le Tout Premier Jour (The Very First Day), arrived in August 2008 and featured successful tracks like "Dans le vent (In the Wind)" and "Et j'espère (And I Hope),” a duet with Marc Dupré. In November 2011, she delighted fans with Entre Nous ... 10 Ans Déjà! (Between Us... 10 Years Already!), a compilation of her career's highlights. Daniel showcased her talent on the reality show La Voix in 2017, making it to the quarter-finals as part of Éric Lapointe's team. Following an extended hiatus, she made a triumphant comeback in September 2022 with Ma Mère Chantait Toujours (My Mother Always Sang), covering classics by Francis Cabrel, Ginette Reno, Julien Clerc, Judy Garland, and Richard Desjardins.
