Da Hool

German DJ and producer Frank Tomiczek was born on December 30, 1968, in Bottrop, North Rhine-Westphalia. Also known as DJ Hooligan, he made his debut under that moniker with 1995's 3 Years to Become A Ravermaniac before becoming a key figure in the 1990s rave scene as Da Hool. Originally released in 1996, his song "Meet Her at the Love Parade" perfectly connected the dots between rave culture and dance music and sold 6 million copies worldwide. In November 1997, "Meet Her at the Love Parade" reached number 4 in France while also landing in the Top 10 in countries like Germany, Belgium, and Ireland. His album Here Come Da Hool, released in 1998, climbed to number 35 on the French charts. The album Light My Fire was released in 2008, on which Da Hool covered the Doors classic of the same name. In 2010, Da Hool participated in the cooking reality show Das perfekte Promi-Dinner.
