Darren Criss

Darren Criss is an American actor and singer-songwriter who studied violin as a child. He attended the American Conservatory Theatre from the age of ten and performed in several productions. He did further study at the Accademia dell'Arte in Italy before debuting on Broadway in the lead role of 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' in 2012. He went on to appear in episodes of 'Eastwick' and 'Cold Case' and was cast as a regular on 'Glee', 'Transformers: Robots in Disguise', 'American Crime Story' and 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace'. His film credits include 'Girl Most Likely' (2013). In 2009 he wrote songs for Team StarKid's stage parody 'A Very Potter Musical, Me and My Dick' at the University of Michigan which was posted on YouTube. The cast album reached number eleven on Billboard's Top Cast Albums Chart in 2010 and in the same year he released EP 'Human' which went to number 17 on Billboard's Heetseekers Albums Chart. Follow-up EP 'Lost Boys Life' came out in 2017 and in 2018 the EP 'Homework' topped the Heatseekers Chart and reached number seven on the Independent Albums Chart.
