Gnash

Garrett Fredrick Charles Nash (June 17, 1993) is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, DJ, and producer who performs under the stage name Gnash. Born into an art-loving family in Los Angeles, he started DJing at the age of 13 and then moved on to record cover versions after graduating from college. Inspired by a recent breakup, Gnash made his official debut in 2015 with the EPs U and Me, recorded and produced in his garage. A year later, he issued the EP Us, which featured his breakout single “I Hate U, I Love U,” a duet with singer Olivia O’Brien that cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and enjoyed great chart success in countries like the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. After a handful of non-album singles during 2017 and 2018, Gnash returned in 2019 with his studio debut We, followed closely by the EP If later that year. Outside/Inside, his fifth extended play, appeared in 2020.
