Grand Buffet

Lord Grunge and Grape-A-Don (both of whom have a variety of other tongue-in-cheek nicknames) came out of the generally grimy rock scene of Pittsburgh with a penchant for wiseacre rhymes and a lo-fi spin on classic old-school beats. But since they were Caucasian and packed their 2002 debut, SPARKLE CLASSIC, with densely witty lyrics, Grand Buffet was at first likened to nerdy MCs like Paul Barman. By 2007’s KING VISION however, their productions had become more polished. Lord Grunge’s flow also developed a more assertive charisma, and the duo found themselves closely associated with fellow Pennsylvanians and cult-rap favorites Plastic Little.
