Guelo Star

Miguel Antonio de Jesús Cruz, known artistically as Guelo Star, was born on September 19, 1981, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Emerging as a prominent figure in the reggaeton and Latin hip hop scenes, Guelo Star has significantly contributed to the genre as a singer, composer, and record producer since his debut in 1999. His collaborations with renowned artists like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, and Ivy Queen, and his recognition as "Composer of the Year" three times by the ASCAP awards, underscore his influence in the music industry. His discography includes notable albums such as The Movie Man (2012), The Movie Under (2015), and The Movie Man 2 (2018), alongside mixtapes like La Pelicula Viviente (2008) and Yums (2012) together with tracks like "Ámame o mátame" (2018).
