Hot Chelle Rae

Hot Chelle Rae are an American pop/rock band from Nashville. Bassist Ian Keaggy is the son of Grammy-nominated guitarist Phil Keaggy and the other three band members are the sons of Nashville songwriters. The band made their album debut in 2009 with 'Lovesick Electric', which merged pop with a rock sound. 'I Like to Dance' and 'Bleed' were released as singles. Their second album 'Whatever' was released in 2011 and featured the hit single 'Tonight Tonight'. They scored a lesser hit with follow-up single 'I Like It Like That'. After supporting Taylor Swift the band released several singles. They also supported Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato. Bassist Ian Keaggy left in 2013 and the band became inactive as the members concentrated on their songwriting. In late 2019 they returned as a three-piece act and released their first music in five years with the poppy single 'I Hate LA', inspired by the band's love/hate relationship with Los Angeles. A US tour followed along with the single 'Tangerine'.
