Ison & Fille

Ison & Fille are a Swedish hip-hop duo who began their career in 1994 after meeting at a basketball club in the city of Bredäng. Consisting of Ison Glasgow and Felipe “Fille” Leiva Wenger, they released their first couple of songs on the 2000 compilation album Den svenska underjorden and made their official debut in 2001 with the EP Tillbaka till gatan. Their first studio album, Vår sida av stan, peaked at Number 49 on the Sverigetopplistan and its follow-up album Stolthet (2006) reached Number 39. In 2007, they dropped the EP Vad e det för Mode? and made their acting debut on the series Leende guldbruna ögon, playing the roles of rappers Carlos and Mike. Ison & Fille returned in 2011 with För evigt, a release that went to Number 12 in Sweden and earned them the P3 Gold Award for Best Hip Hop/Soul Act of the Year. The album included the Top 50 hit single “Från hjärtat,” a collaborative effort with fellow rappers Aleks, Hoosam, and Fille’s younger brother Sabo. That same year, Ison served as a judge in the first season of The X Factor. After participating in the Music Aid event in 2013, the duo cracked the Swedish Top 10 with Länge leve vi, whose title track climbed to Number 21 on the Singles Chart. In the subsequent years, they made an appearance on the TV show Så mycket bättre and resumed their career with 2019's Vackra liv.
