José De Rico

José de Rico is an influential Spanish DJ, producer, and songwriter, renowned for his unique fusion of electronic beats and Latin rhythms. Born José Manuel León Hierro on April 21, 1982, in Barcelona, he kicked off his career DJing at the local radio station Loca FM, slowly building a devoted fanbase over the years. His break into mainstream popularity came when he released "Rayos de Sol," featuring Dominican urban artist Henry Mendez, in 2012. The track was an international success, cracking the Top 10 in countries like Austria, Belgium, France, Switzerland, and Spain, where it was certified gold by PROMUSICAE. Following the success of "Rayos de Sol," José de Rico entered the Spanish Top 10 once again with 2013's "Noche de Estrellas," featuring Jay Santos and Henry Mendez. The single, earned him critical acclaim and solidified his position in the global dance music scene, peaking at Number 5 in Spain. Over the following years, the Spanish producer continued honing his infectious blend of Latin electronic music on the collaborative singles "Soltera" (2014) with Danny Romero and Fito Blanko, "Más Que una Amiga" (2015) with Adrián Rodríguez, and "Bésame" (2016) with Lucía Gil, and "Bailemos" with Crazy Design (2017).
