Kool Savas is a German rap artist of Turkish extraction who first gained attention in 2006 with the project Masters of Rap and then in a hip-hop duo called Westberlin Maskulin with Taktlo$$ in 1997. He made his first solo album, 'Der Beste Tag Meines Lebens', in 2002 followed by several others including 'Die John Bello Story' (2005), 'Wer Hatz Erfunden?' (2006), 'Die John Bello Story Vol. 2' (2008) and 'John Bello Story Vol. 3' (2010). His 2011 release, 'Aura', topped the German Albums Chart as did 'Märtyrer' in 2014. Mixtape 'Essahdamus' (2016) peaked at number three and he collaborated with Sido on 'Royal Bunker' for 2017.
