Kwon Eunbi

Kwon Eun-bi is a South Korean vocalist who has found popularity not only as a member of the girl group Iz*One, but also as a solo artist. Born in Seoul, South Korea, on September 27, 1995, she worked as a backup dancer for groups like Secret and Girl's Day at 17 years old, then joined the short-lived girl group Ye-A under the stage name "Kazoo" in 2014. The group released one single, "Up and Down," before disbanding, and Kwon Eun-bi bounced back by joining a new girl group, Iz*One, in 2018. "La Vie en Rose," the group's debut single, arrived that same year and hit Number 6 on Billboard's Word Digital Song Sales chart. Iz*One quickly became popular not only in South Korea, but also in Japan, earning a platinum record with their first Japanese single, 2019's "Suki to Iwasetai," and climbing to Number 1 on both the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and Oricon Singles Chart with their follow-up release, "Buenos Aires," later that same year. Kwon Eun-bi served as the group's leader and occasional songwriter, composing tracks like "Spaceship" (from Iz*One's platinum-selling debut LP, 2020's Bloom*Iz) and "With*One" (from the group's double-platinum EP Oneiric Diary). She also launched a solo career, making her solo debut with 2021's "Door" — a number 3 hit on the World Digital Song Sales chart — and climbing to number 8 in South Korea with the song's accompanying EP, Open, later that summer. A second EP, Color, reached number 4 in 2022, and followed later than year by the Top 20 release Lethality. "Underwater" became her highest-chart singing to date, reaching number 20 on the South Korea Songs Chart in 2023.
