Leony

Armed with a powerful voice and a knack for big, anthemic hooks, German singer-songwriter Leonie Burger (June 25, 1997), aka Leony, grew up in a small town in the south of Germany and took piano and guitar lessons from a very young age. She made her official debut in 2017 with the single “Surrender,” a mostly acoustic number that was co-written with legendary producer Billy Steinberg. The dance pop banger “Boots” arrived in 2018 and was followed by a collection of remixes by DJs Lenny-L, Mil Banks, and Chrome Chainz. In 2019, Leony dropped the summery “More Than Friends” and spent the following year collaborating extensively with other artists, such as Noel Holler (“Every Morning”), Vize (“Paradise”), and Pascal Letoublon (“Friendships (Lost My Love)”). Subsequently, Leony inaugurated 2021 with the single “Faded Love,” an infectious electro pop track that riffed off of O2’s massive worldwide hit, “Dragostea din tei.”
