Lindsey Webster

A smooth jazz siren made for low-lit, smokey bar-rooms and lazy Sunday mornings, Lindsey Webster's timeless sound and heart-melting songs have earned comparisons to Diana Krall and Sade. Raised in the hippy back woods of Woodstock, New York she grew up listening to 1990s soul divas such as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston and her parents' Beatles and Aretha Franklin records before moving to the city to study at the Fiorella H. LaGuardia Performing Arts School. While honing her skills by singing karaoke in local bars she was spotted by pianist and future husband Keith Slattery and together they developed a style that drew from old time soul crooners, funky jazz-pop starlets and sincere songwriters. She released her self-titled debut album in 2013. Slowly building her reputation with shows and performances at festivals across the world, her follow-up 'You Change' was full of dark, moody ballads and she broke through to a wider audience when single 'Fool Me Once' topped the Billboard Soul Jazz Charts. Signing to New Jersey label Shanachie Records, she returned with a more upbeat, funky R&B sound on third album 'Back to Your Heart' in 2017 and collaborated with Grammy-winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum on the big torch song 'One at a Time'. She released her fourth album 'Love Inside' in 2018.
