Lisa Bouchelle

Hailing from Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, and raised in nearby New Jersey, Lisa Bouchelle is known not only for her collaborations with homeland heroes like Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi, but also for solo material like the Top 30 adult contemporary hit "Love Is For The Making." Her first band, October Baby, debuted in 1999 with Tales from the Pumpkin Patch, and Bouchelle briefly joined the progressive rock band Mastermind one year later. She handled lead vocals on the band's 2000 release, Angels of the Apocalypse, then left the Mastermind's lineup to focus on her own music once again. After releasing the albums Tricks With Pretty Words and Passion Makes Perfect, she secured major-label distribution for 2007's Paint Your Dreams and supported the album's release with a tour alongside Blues Traveler. The album featured contributions from many iconic members of the Jersey Shore music scene, as did its follow-up, 2010's Bleu Room with a Red Vase. Although Bouchelle continued to record new albums, tour, and write new music for television shows throughout the 2010s, she remained something of a regional phenomenon until 2021, when her song "Jump In" became a national hit. As the lead single from an album of the same name, "Jump In" reached number 21 on the Billboard Magazine Adult Contemporary Indicator chart. Two years later, "Love Is For The Making" became her second genuine hit, debuting at number 26 on the Top 30 Adult Contemporary Songs chart during the summer of 2023.
