Los Pikadientes de Caborca

Hailing from the state of Sonora, Regional Mexican ensemble Los Pikadientes de Caborca formed in the city of the same name in 2008. Led by singer-songwriter Francisco González, the group made its debut later that year with the single "La Cumbia del Río," which entered the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart and went viral on video-streaming platforms. After signing with Sony BMG, they released their studio debut Vámonos Pa'l Río, reaching Number 52 on the Billboard 200 and earning a Grammy nomination for Best Regional Mexican Album. Driven by the hit single "Al Gusto," a second album titled La Tenía Más Grande came out in 2009, followed by Más Desmadrosos Que Nunca in 2010. Subsequently, the band went on an indefinite hiatus and Francisco González began penning songs for artists like Calibre 50, Julion Alvarez, and La Original Banda Limón. In 2018, the group reformed with a slightly different lineup and issued the full-length A la Orillita del Mar. Que Siga la Fiesta, their fifth long player, appeared in 2019 and Sones con Los Pikadientes de Caborca hit retail two years later.
