Martin Solveig

Martin Solveig, who was born Martin Picandet in Paris, France is a house DJ and producer whose best-known album 'Smash' went to number 22 on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart in 2012. Ranked among the top DJs in the business, he performs regularly in Ibiza, remixes tracks by other artists and has released several successful singles. He hosts a weekly radio show called 'C'est la Vie' that is heard around the world and he was a producer on Madonna's hit 2012 album 'MDNA'. A member of the Paris Boys Choir as a child, he had classical training and became a DJ in his late teens. He made his recording debut in 2003 with 'Suite' followed by 'Sur la Terre' (2004), 'Hedonist' (2005), 'Defected in the House' (2006) and 'In the House, Vol. 1' (2008). The title track of his 2008 release 'C'est la Vie' featuring Jay Sebag went to number nine on the France Digital Song Sales Chart. The track 'Hello' with Dragonette, from the album 'Smash', peaked at number seven on the France Digital Song Sales Chart, number 13 on the UK Singles Chart, 19 on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40, 30 on the Adult Top 40 and 46 Hot 100. 'Hey Now' (2013) with The Cataracs featuring Kyle went to number ten on the German Songs Chart and 'Intoxicated' (2015) with GTA reached number five in the UK. 'All Stars' (2017) featuring Alma went to number eight on the France Digital Song Sales Chart.
