Megan Moroney

Megan Moroney (born on December 16, 1996, in Georgia, U.S.A) is an American country singer and songwriter. Growing up in a musical home, she participated in talent shows and musicals during high school, posting covers of songs on social media in her spare time. While studying music business at the University of Georgia, she was asked to perform at a sorority concert where she was discovered by prominent country music singer Chase Rice. After opening his show the following month, Moroney realised that performing was her passion, and upon graduation, released debut EP Pistol Made of Roses in July 2022, followed by breakthrough single “Tennessee Orange” on September 2, 2022, which debuted in the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 25 on the Hot Country Songs chart.
