Minnie

Nicha Yontararak (born October 23, 1997 in Bangkok, Thailand), known as Minnie, is a Thai singer, songwriter, and actress based in South Korea. Born into a musical family, Minnie started learning piano from age five, taking vocal lessons from the age of seven. After studying music at Grammy Vocal Studio in Thailand, she participated in the Cube Star World audition in September 2014, moving to South Korea in 2015. On May 2, 2018, Minnie debuted with girl group (G)I-dle with the title song "Latata” from the mini-album I Am to critical acclaim, participated in writing arranging the track “Blow Your Mind” on the group’s second EP, I Made and “For You” from the group’s debut Japanese album Latata. In October 2019, Minnie teamed up with Chinese-Australian artist, Wengie to release "Empire", which debuted at number 22 on the Billboard World Digital Songs Chart, before writing "I'm the Trend" and "Tung-Tung (Empty)" alongside FCM Houdini, which was released for (G)I-dle's Japanese second EP Oh My God (2020). In October 2020, Minnie sang on the soundtracks for two Korean television series, performing "Getaway" (My Dangerous Wife) and "We Already Fell in Love" with Korean singer Miyeon (Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol). In 2021, Minnie co-composed "Moon" and "Dahlia", which was released on January 11 for her group's fourth EP I Burn, and on September 23, the singer featured in "Money Honey", collaborating with Thai rappers F. Hero [th] and UrboyTJ, earning her a nomination for Collaboration Song of the Year at the Joox Thailand Music Awards. Continuing to appear on soundtracks over the next two years, Minnie performed “Saying Hello” for Korean television series Link: Eat, Love, Kill in 2022 and “In the Novel” for fantasy webtoon It Was All a Mistake, released on January 12, 2023.
