NOFX

NOFX are an American punk rock band with elements of ska and hardcore formed in Los Angeles, California in 1983 by guitarist Eric Melvin, singer and bass player Mike Burkett and drummer Erik Sandin. They released a self-titled album in 1985 and went on to record many other albums, 14 of which landed on the Billboard 200 although none went higher than 'Coaster', which reached number 36 in 2009. They have had several line-up changes over the years and the current players are the original three along with guitar and trumpet player Aaron 'El Here' Abeyta. They have toured the US and around the world and have had four releases on Billboard's Top Rock Albums Chart. 'Wolves in Wolves' Clothing' (2006) reached number eleven, 'Coaster' (2009) number nine, 'Self/Entitled' number 17 and 'First Ditch Effort' (2012) number 16. In June 2018 they launched a punk music festival called Camp Punk in Drublic, with the name taken from their 1994 album 'Punk in Drublic', appearing with many other punk rockers such as Rancid and Pennywise at the Legend Valley venue in Thornville, Ohio. Their 2018 schedule also included an appearance in Amsterdam and Netherlands with dates set for shows in May 2019 at the Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds, Hatfield and Liverpool in England.
