Park Ji-hoon

Park Ji-hoon (born May 29, 1999 in Masan, South Korea) is a South Korean singer and actor. Moving to Seoul when he was seven years old, he made his debut as a child actor, performing in musical theatre and television drama, before training as an idol singer. In 2017, Park rose to fame as the runner-up of the popular television audition program Produce 101, making his debut with the show’s graduating group Wanna One, which, due to its short-lived success, disbanded in December 2018. In 2019, Park began his solo career, releasing his debut EP O’Clock on March 26, peaking at number 2 on the Korean Charts with lead single “L.O.V.E” peaking at number 59. After a successful fan-meeting tour, he released his second EP 360, and its title track in December that year, earning him both the Bonsang and New K-wave Icon Awards at the Soribada Best K-Music Awards as well as the Entertainer Award (Man) at the 2020 APAN Music Awards. His third EP The W appeared on May 26, 2020, charting at number 5 before returning briefly to acting, appearing in hit drama Love Revolution where his latest song “Midnight” featured on the show’s soundtrack. His first full-length studio album Message appeared on November 4, charting at number 9 with title track “Gotcha” released shortly before his first online solo concert on December 13, 2020. Continuing to balance his acting and singing career, Park released his fourth and fifth EPs, My Collection and Hot&Cold in August and October 2021, charting at number 4 and 7 respectively, hosting another fan meeting in June the following year with sixth EP The Answer appearing on October 12, 2022, charting at number 17.
