Peter Fox

Pierre Baigorry, who adopted the stage name Peter Fox in the late '90s, was born on 3 September 1971 in West Berlin Fox and has been active as one of the lead singers of the dancehall trio Seeed since 1998, enjoying success with songs like "Dickes B", "AufStand!" featuring Cee-Lo Green, "Ding" and "Augenbling". In 2006, he began working on his first solo album, aided by long-time writing collaborator Monk and produced with the assistance of Seeed's DJ Illvibe. Propelled by two radio-friendly singles, "Alles Neu" and "Haus Am See", the German-language album Stadtaffe – with music performed by orchestras including Babelsberg Film Orchestra – emerged in September 2008 and went to number one in Germany the following year. He toured the record in late 2008, paving the way for 2009 live album, Live aus Berlin. The following year he represented Berlin at the Bundesvision Song Contest 2009 with his third single "Schwarz zu Blau", finishing in first place. He decided to step away from the limelight but continued to rack up guest features on various releases including Materia’s “Secondary Sleep” (2011) and Ricky Dietz’s “Flex Pon You” (2019). In 2020 he worked with KitschKrieg for their first album, creating the track "Lambo Lambo" with the singer Trettmann. He made his solo comeback in October 2022 with the single "Zukunft Pink", which features a guest appearance from singer Inéz.
