Ramon Roselly

German pop singer Ramon Kaselowsky (born on December 7, 1993, in Merseburg, Germany) – known by his stage name Ramon Roselly – took a less-traveled route to pop stardom; through the circus. Growing up in a circus family, Roselly performed vocal interludes at circus shows as a child and rose to fame in 2020 after winning the 17th season of the casting show Deutschland Sucht Den Superstar, a local German version of American Idol. Having previously performed under his family name of Kaselowsky, Roselly adopted his current professional name for the show's finale and went head-to-head with singer Chiara D'Amico to perform a version of Dieter Bohlen's hit song "Eine Nacht." The track shot to Number 1 on the German singles Chart in April 2020. Roselly's debut album Herzenssache arrived that April via Universal Music Group and reached Number 2 on the German album charts. In 2020, Roselly was named Newcomer of the Year at Germany's annual Goldene Henne awards.
