Putting himself on the map in 2012 with his candid homage to his East London hometown, The Upper Clapton Dream, Rimzee's tough-talking tales have been lighting up the UK rap scene ever since. Born on 9 September 1991 in Clapton, London, he began making waves with his freestyles in the late 2000s, launching with the video "2010 Freestyle / New York Minute Remix" before unleashing The Upper Clapton Dream. Rimzee's blossoming career was temporarily derailed following his arrest and subsequent six-and-a-half-year prison sentence for shooting at an unmarked police car, but he made his comeback in 2020 with the long-awaited Upper Clapton Dream 2, featuring the likes of Snap Capone, Ay Em, and more. For his third mixtape, 2022's 18-track Cold Feet project, he gathered an all-star list of collaborators such as Emeli Sande, Giggs, and K-Trap. The record ascended to number 11 on the UK Albums Chart while touching down at number one on the Official Hip Hop and R&B Album Charts. Rimzee christened the new year with a new full-length in February 2024, Feed the Streets, which packed in features from ArrDee ("The Game"), Tiggs Da Author ("Gorilla") and others.
