Seattle Symphony Chorale

The Seattle Symphony Chorale is the official chorus for the Seattle Symphony orchestra, founded in 1953 by Leonard Moore. Featuring around 120 volunteer singers, selected by a strict audition process, the Chorale prides itself on being made up of elite, dedicated singers. Recordings featuring the Chorale include Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, Benjamin Britten's War Requiem, Deems Taylor's opera Peter Ibbetson, Howard Hanson's Lament For Beowulf and Bela Bartok's The Miraculous Mandarin.
