Stamford, CT's Sicboy delivers their own smart, yet sassy brand of modern rock, plucking from their influences like Elliott Smith, Deftones, Radiohead, Helmet, and Portishead. Formed in 1996 in Stamford, Connecticut, Sicboy is comprised of singer/songwriter John Tate, guitarists Danny Frattaroli and Ant Valenzisi, bassist Drew Trudeau, and drummer Chris Trudeau. To incorporate more of an eclectic twist to their sound, Sicboy also calls upon the mixing skills of turntable headhunter Todd Emmerson. The band issued their debut album Artificial Flavors in the fall of 2000 on Toronto's Attack Records&Filmworks followed by the independent EP releases, Tease in 2002 and the appropriately titled 2004 two years later. ~ MacKenzie Wilson&Al Campbell
