Soma Saito

Japanese voice actor and singer Soma Saito was born in Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture on April 22, 1991. After completing his voice-over training under the talent management firm 81 Produce while still in high school, he made his official debut in 2010 with a handful of minor roles in a few anime series and video games. In 2014, following his graduation from Waseda University, he landed his first major role as Tasuku Ryuenji on the anime Future Card Buddyfight. That year, he also made appearances in other series such as Haikyu!!, Akame ga Kill!, and Terror in Resonance. Soma Saito kicked off his music career a few years later with the single "Fish Story," which saw the light in June 2017 via the Sacra Music label. This was followed later that year by "Yoake wa Mada/Hikari Tatsu Ame," which was used as the opening theme to the anime series Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu. "Date," his third single, appeared in 2018 and cracked the Top 10 of both the Oricon charts and the Japanese Billboard Hot 100, also reaching Number 1 on the Hot Animation Chart. The track was included in his studio debut Quantum Stranger, which peaked at Number 4 in Japan. In the subsequent years, Soma Saito continued to deliver carefully crafted J-pop gems such as My Blue Vacation (2019), In Bloom (2020), My Beautiful Valentine (2022), and Yin/Yang (2022), all of which managed to remain in the Top 10 of the Oricon charts.
