Spencer Sutherland

Spencer Sutherland (August 31, 1992) is an American pop and R&B artist who rose to the public eye after competing on the British version of the reality show The X Factor. Hailing from Pickerington, Ohio, he began singing from a very young age and participated in choir during high school. After relocating to Los Angeles to advance his music career, he released the singles “Heartstrings” (2013), “Bad Influence” (2015), and “Girls” (2016). Following his national television debut on NBC’s Today presenting the single “Selfish,” Spencer Sutherland became a contestant on the UK version of The X Factor, where he was eliminated after the first round of live shows. In 2018, he returned with the single “Talk” and opened for the boy band In Real Life on their tour throughout the United States. That same year, he signed with BMG US and issued the singles “Tell Me” and “Fine.” Preceded by the singles “Sweater” and “Freaking Out,” his debut EP None of This Has Been About You saw the light in 2019 and was followed by a second EP titled Indigo in 2020. Subsequently, Spencer Sutherland contributed to the soundtrack of the 2021 Netflix film Afterlife of the Party with the songs “Blush,” “Drive,” “One Look,” and “Home,” featuring actress Victoria Justice.
