Stereoact

Formed in 2011 in the Ore Mountains of Germany, Stereoact is a DJ duo featuring producers Rico "Sic" Einkel and Sebastian "Rixx" Seidel. The two producers first began working together under the name "Starpoppers," combining dubstep, electro-house, and deep house influences into early singles like "Keep On," "Vorwärts," and "Knight Rider 2K14." By 2015, they'd changed their name to Stereoact and earned their first hit with a remix of Kerstin Ott's "Die immer lacht," which climbed to Number 2 in Germany, Number 2 in Austria, and Number 17 in Switzerland. The song eventually went triple-platinum in Germany, where it became one of the country's best-selling hits of all time. A full-length album, Tanzansage, was released in 2016 and charted at Number 15 in Germany, remaining on the charts for two months. A follow-up release, Lockermachen Durchfedern, appeared in 2017 and climbed to Number 26. With 2021's "Ich liebe das Leben," Stereoact scored yet another hit with a remix of an older song, reworking Vicky Leandros' pop single from 1975 into a modern dance track. The song appeared on the duo's third album, #Schlager, which was released that same year and charted at Number 6 in Germany, Number 13 in Austria, and Number 24 in Switzerland.
