Sutton Foster

Sutton Foster is a double Tony Award-winner and Grammy-nominated singer, dancer and actress who stars in the television series 'Younger', which started its fifth season in 2018. Born in Georgia, she grew up in Michigan and joined the national tour of 'The Will Rogers Follies' as a teenager. She toured in 'Grease' in 1995 and also in 'Les Misérables' and landed the leading role in the La Jolla Playhouse production of 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' that took her to Broadway in 2002 where she won her first Tony Award. She went on to earn Tony nominations for the musicals 'Little Women (2005), 'The Drowsy Chaperone' (2006), 'Shrek the Musical' (2009) and 'Violet' (2014) with a win in 2011 for 'Anything Goes'. The cast recording of that show earned a Grammy Award nomination as Best Musical Album. She made her debut in Carnegie Hall in 2015 and has performed off-Broadway and in Australia. On television she has appeared in 'Flight of the Conchords' plus 'Bunheads' and 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life'. She sings on the cast recordings of 'Little Women' (2005) and 'Violet' and made her solo debut with 'Wish' (2009) followed by 'An Evening With Sutton Foster, Live at the Café Carlyle' (2014).
