Tobee

German pop singer Tobee was born Tobias Riether in 1985 in Geislingen and began his musical career playing in a cover band. After winning a talent competition in 2003 he found himself being drawn into the German party music genre and over the years released a number of singles which featured on party albums and Christmas compilations with titles such as 'Drunken Germans' and 'Orca in Front of Mallorca'. Riether had his first mainstream chart success after he was commissioned to write a song for the 2008 European Football championship. The following year a collaboration with Chris Andrews brought more chart success when the two performers re-recorded Andrews' 1969 hit 'Pretty Belinda' and the track became the party hit of the year. In 2017 Riether qualified as a dentist and now juggles his performing life with a medical career.
