Trinidad Cardona

Trinidad Cardona (born on May 23, 1999 in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and social media personality. Developing a passion for dancehall music at a young age, he rose to fame overnight when his smash hit "Jennifer" went viral in 2017, landing him an immediate record deal with Island Music. Releasing two albums in 2018; Humble Beginnings and I Understand, Cardona’s Miami-flavoured hit song “Dinero” turned him into a social media sensation, charting across north America and Europe, certified gold in France, Portugal and the United States. Recording two EPs in 2019; LOVE and Aventura, as well as the trap-influenced singles "Solo" and "Tired", his next studio album Por Favor appeared in 2021. Signing to Def Jam Recordings in early 2022, his Afrobeat-inspired single “Love Me Back” attracted considerable attention, with Cardona invited to collaborate on the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 soundtrack with Nigerian vocalist DaVido and Qatari singer Aisha, performing catchy reggae-EDM anthem “Hayya Hayya (Better Together), boasting over 15 million views online. Following this, Cardona released two further singles “Tell the Truth” and the seasonal track “Christmas With You”, featuring on the Def Jam Christmas compilation album, Def the Halls, released in October, 2022.
