Two in One

Two in One are a Euro-House group from Austria. In 1997, Viennese singer Petra Suk, who had worked as an art director for Andrea Weidler's model agency, met Nigerian rapper George Alaba at Vienna's African Club, where he served as the resident DJ. Soon enough, the pair decided to start a musical project together and made their official debut with the album Now and Forever (1998). Follow-up album Around the World (1999) proved to be their most successful record, mainly thanks to the massive dance hit "Indian Song," which rose to Number 2 in Austria and received gold certification shortly after. The group would go on to release two more albums—Glamorous Life (2000) and the compilation Best Of (2001)—before a legal dispute over the band's name put an end to their career. In the following years, Petra Suk became a professional speaker and George Alaba went back to DJing while promoting his daughter's singing career.
