Vicetone

Childhood friends Ruben den Boer (born January 22nd, 1992) and Victor Pool (born July 9th, 1992) formed the Dutch house duo known as Vicetone in Groningen in 2012. They started their journey as DJs, which led to a placing on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list in 2013. After honing their skills behind the decks, their first single, "Harmony", arrived in 2012, followed by a string of tracks over the next few years, including "Heartbeat" featuring Collin McLoughlin (2013), "Chasing Time" featuring Daniel Gidlund (2013), "Let Me Feel" with Nicky Romero (2014) and "Follow Me" featuring JHart (2015). Vicetone's debut EP, Aurora, landed in 2016 and went to Number 21 on the US dance chart. The follow-up, Elements, came out in 2019 on Monstercat. 2020 was a landmark year for the duo whose 2014 remix of Tony Igy's song "Astronomia" became an internet meme and saw their profile skyrocket to the heights of international stardom. No doubt emboldened by their newfound fame, they set about releasing their debut full-length album, Legacy, in 2021, on which they champion their musical influences and pay tribute to the late EDM star Avicii.
