Vincy Chan

Vincy Chan (October 16, 1982) is a Hong Kong-born Singaporean singer who jumped to fame after participating in the 2005 New Talent Singing Awards. After immigrating to Singapore with her family in 1990, Vincy Chan attended Dunman High School during her teenage years and obtained a degree in accounting at Nanyang Technological University in 2005. That same year, she was placed among the top 24 contestants in the singing competition Project Superstar. Upon her return to Hong Kong, Vincy Chan finished in second place in the singing contest New Talent Awards, landing a recording contract with Emperor Entertainment Group. “Feeling,” her debut single, arrived in 2006 and quickly became one of her trademark songs, establishing her as one the fastest rising stars in the Cantopop scene. Following a series of well-received pop albums, Vincy Chan pivoted to electronic music with the LPs Where I Touch the Sky (2012) and Free (2013). In the following years, she eventually returned to organic instrumentation with the albums Love & Love Songs (2014), Love In the Wind (2015), Mirror Reflection (2016), and Fever (2018).
