Yxng Bane, aka Guystone Menga, is a British rapper from East London who shot to fame with his 2018 remix of Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You'. He is associated with the new Afroswing musical movement in the UK. When he began performing, he was a shy and nervous presence, often wearing a mask to hide his face. The mask was also derived, as was his stage name, from the Bane character in the 2012 film, 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
