ZZ Ward

Born in Abington, Pennsylvania, singer-songwriter ZZ Ward is a relative newcomer to the US rock and blues scene. She started her musical career after moving with her family to Oregon and joined her dad's band when she was just 12-years-old. After re-locating to Los Angeles she was discovered by pop impresario Evan Bogart, better known as E. Kidd Bogart and whose roster of past artists includes Rihanna, Britney Spears and Beyoncé. Mentored by Bogart, Ward released her debut album 'Til the Casket Drops' in 2012 and it met with a positive critical reception spawning three successful singles including '365 Days' which peaked at number 28 in the US Adult Chart and went as high as number four in the Alternative Singles Chart. Following the growing interest in Ward's music the artist appeared as a support act to Eric Clapton in 2014 which generated valuable exposure for her to rock and blues audiences. A follow-up album released in 2017 with Ward hoping to capitalise on the interest generated by her debut album.
