Mickey J. Meyer

Music composer, musician, producer, and singer Mickey J. Meyer was born on December 5, 1982, in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He is best known for his award-winning work in Telugu Cinema (aka Tollywood). His music is known as being soulful and emotional, blending Western and Eastern influences together and creating his own unique sound. After graduating from Trinity College of Music (located in Chennai), Mickey J. Meyer embarked on his musical career. The first film that he composed music for was 2005’s Pothe Poni, but he came to prominence in 2007 when he composed the music for Happy Days (2007). The film was a hit and Mickey J. Meyer won several awards for his work on the film including the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director (Telugu), the Nandi Award for Best Music Director, and the CineMAA Award for Best Music Director. He became one of the most in-demand composers in the Indian film industry, composing music for many films including Hare Ram (2008), Jolly Days (2009), Life is Beautiful (2012), Mukunda (2014), Mister (2017), and Shyam Singha Roy (2022), which featured the song “Sirivennela”, which was streamed more than eight million times on social media in the first two weeks of its premiere.
